LitVMPay (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a decentralized payment application built on the Litecoin Virtual Machine (LitVM) ecosystem. It enables merchants and users to accept payments in any supported token and settle in their chosen token via cross-token settlement.

These Terms of Use and Privacy Policy govern your access to and use of LitVMPay (the “Platform”), including any associated websites, smart contracts, interfaces, or services.

Please read these terms carefully. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights when using LitVMPay.

LitVMPay is decentralized and non-custodial, so we collect minimal personal data.

  • Wallet Addresses and On-Chain Data: Public blockchain data such as transaction history, token balances, and interactions with our smart contracts. This is inherently public.
  • Usage Data: Anonymized technical information such as IP address (temporarily via hosting providers), browser type, device info, and interaction logs for analytics and security.
  • Communication Data: Information you voluntarily provide when contacting us (e.g., support inquiries).

We do not intentionally collect names, emails (unless provided), government IDs, or other sensitive personal data through the core Platform.

3. How We Use Information

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, security issues, or abuse.
  • Generate anonymized analytics on usage and adoption.
  • Respond to your communications.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

  • Public Blockchain: All transactions are visible on-chain.

  • Community/Contributors: Limited data may be shared with core contributors for development and security.
