Terms of Use

LitVMPay provides a decentralized interface for cross-token payments on LitVM and compatible networks. The Platform functions as a payment gateway allowing users to accept payments in various tokens and settle in a preferred token through on-chain settlement (which may involve underlying token conversions).

The Platform is non-custodial — you retain full control of your digital assets and private keys at all times.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the LitVMPay contributors and community. We may update these Terms periodically; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You represent that you are not a resident or citizen of any jurisdiction where use of the Platform is prohibited by law (including sanctions lists). You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

• The Platform facilitates peer-to-peer cross-token payments and settlement conversions.
• We do not custody, control, or have access to your funds, private keys, or wallets.
• Transactions occur directly on the blockchain. Gas fees, slippage, and blockchain risks are your responsibility.
• We provide the interface only; smart contract execution is immutable and governed by code.

No traditional accounts are created. You interact via compatible cryptocurrency wallets. By connecting your wallet, you authorize the Platform to view your public wallet address and interact with smart contracts on your behalf (for transaction execution). You are responsible for the security of your wallet and seed phrase.

The Platform's interface, logos, and original content are owned by LitVMPay contributors or licensed. You are granted a limited, revocable license to use the interface for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission. Smart contracts are open-source and subject to their respective licenses.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or any illegal activity.
• Attempt to exploit smart contracts or engage in abusive trading/manipulation.
• Introduce malicious code, viruses, or interfere with the Platform.
• Impersonate others or engage in spam, harassment, or deceptive practices.
• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.

Crypto assets and blockchain transactions involve high risk. You may lose funds.

• Blockchain Risks: Irreversible transactions, network congestion, forks, or bugs in underlying protocols (Litecoin, LitVM, or related networks).
• Smart Contract Risks: Vulnerabilities or unintended behavior in code.
• Market Risks: Volatility and slippage in token conversions.
• No Financial Advice: The Platform does not provide investment, tax, legal, or financial advice. All decisions are yours.
• As Is Basis:The Platform is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement.

We disclaim all liability for any losses, whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive, arising from your use of the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability (including contributors and community members) shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the preceding 12 months (typically zero for this decentralized interface). This limitation applies even if advised of the possibility of damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LitVMPay contributors, affiliates, and community members from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including suspected violations. You may stop using the Platform at any time. Sections on disclaimers, liability, and indemnification survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), seated in Singapore. You waive any right to class actions or jury trials.

• Severability: Invalid provisions do not affect the remainder.
• No Waiver: Failure to enforce a right does not waive it.
• Entire Agreement: These Terms (with Privacy Policy) constitute the full agreement.
